摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase punching yield and thereby lower a manufacturing cost without reducing the required surface area of a radiation plate for an ink jet recording unit. SOLUTION: This radiation plate 2 is a plate-like member enclosed with edge parts 210, 250, 230, 232, 234, 240 and 260, and has a face 24 for mounting a recording head chip, formed adjacent to a lower edge part 250. In addition, a projecting part 220 is provided on a front edge part 210 which constitutes an installation structure for assembling the radiation plate 2 into an ink jet recording unit structure. Further, on the rear edge part 240 of the radiation plate 2, a notched part is formed which is enclosed with the front edge part 210, a longitudinal edge part 230, a first transverse edge part 232 and a second transverse edge part 234. The height H2 of the radiation plate 2 from the lower edge part 250 to the upper edge part of the projecting part 220 is formed to be less than the height H2 from the lower edge part 250 to the first transverse edge part 232.
