Method of drying crude lignite, with fluidised bed dryer

The precrushed crude lignite is exposed to fluidised bed drying, and vapour is extracted. Part, in compacted form, is used for the indirect heat of drying and condensed; the other part is returned in eddy form to the fluidised bed dryer, where the condensate resulting from the indirect heating is cooled. Bleeder steam (9,9') is used for the indirect heating of the fluidised bed drying (24). The vapour condensate (17) extracted from the indirect heating is cooled by heat exchange (19) with water from the water-steam circulation of the steam turbine power unit process.
