The bearing seat (1) has a crankshaft apron reaching to the other side of a dividing axis (6) of the basic bearing (2), which through a wall (9) connects the bearing segment (3) to a machine-side bearing seat root (8). There are holes (10) in the wall for ventilation of the engine. A rib (12) is fitted in the wall, which locally increases the thickness of the wall, and encloses the screw pipe, extending to the root of the bearing seat. Cavities (15) are formed on the face sides (13) of the rib running parallel to the wall. A threaded bore of the screw pipe directed to the bearing seat root is formed in the rib.
