Transfer lock for strong-boxes

The lock chamber accommodates one strongbox (2) at a time, and has a loading port (8) accessible from an inner room and an access port (10) in a front wall resistant to break-ins. The ports are offset from each other, the loading one being formed in a rear wall (9) of the lock chamber (7) and which is likewise resistant to break-ins. A slide (12) in the chamber transports the strongbox between positions in line with the loading and access ports. The latter can be offset in the vertical or horizontal direction, the slide travelling in the same direction between them. The lock (1) can form a module inserted in an opening (5) in a building wall (6).
