PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material having high color reproducibility and excellent in color fading properties. SOLUTION: This ink jet recording material is obtained by providing a ink receiving layer on at least one surface of a support. In this case, a benzotriazole compd. represented by formula (wherein R1 , R2 , R3 , R4 and R5 are respectively a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a carboalkoxy group, an aryloxy group or an aryl group) and at least one kind of a surfactant selected from anionic, betaine type and cationic surfactants are added to the ink receiving layer. |
