PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and easily fasten a band. SOLUTION: A lever 20 is mounted on a support member so that it is supported at a tip of a fastening arm 25 with a jig 5 of a fastening band 1 facing upward. The fastening band 1 is held by air hands 17, 17. A fold fixing mechanism 22 is moved until a positioning member 38 comes into contact with the band 1 and the jig 5 is positioned to be on the top. A vertically moving cylinder 30 is driven until the support member 23 comes into contact with the band 1 for moving a body of a diameter reducing mechanism 21. After the lever 20 is temporarily folded by the fastening arm 25, the arm 25 is rotated, and while the lever 20 is fallen down at the tip of the arm to have the tip positioned between standing pieces 5a, 5a, the tip of the lever is pushed by a pressing rod 52, thereby activating an operation punch to fall the standing pieces inward to fix the lever 20. |
