The equipment has a wick (5,13) which runs right from the bottom of a lower vessel (12) top to the top edge of a vessel (6) directly above it, covering the inside wall of the latter at several points in the process. It delivers liquid to earth which contains the root ball of the plant, evenly moistening it. It can comprise two or more strings of woven together synthetic material, and the opening in the bottom of the top vessel can have a smaller clear width than the top. The top vessel can be non-transparent and the bottom one transparent, and both can be conical in shape. They can be movable but fixed together and suspension or supporting equipment can be included.
