IDENTIFICATION OF LAWN GRASS RACE AND SUBSTANCE OBTAINED BY THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and clearly distinguish and identify the variety and the race of lawn grasses by firstly carrying out a multi-type analysis of amplified fragment length of a DNA polymerase of a specimen for identifying the race of a lawn grass by one primer and detecting a characteristic DNA pattern. SOLUTION: In this method for identifying the race of a lawn grass, the analysis of a multi-type (RAPD) of amplified fragment length of a DNA polymerase of a specimen is firstly carried out by using one primer and a cycle comprising a thermal denaturation process of a nucleus DNA at 90-94 deg.C for 30 seconds, an annealing process at 33-39 deg.C for 60-90 seconds and a DNA elongation process at 70-72 deg.C for 1 minute 45 second to 2 minutes is performed 45-50 times. Then the analysis of a multi-type (AMFLP) of the amplified fragment length of the DNA polymerase is carried out by using a set of two primers and a cycle comprising a thermal denaturation process of the nucleus DNA at 90-94 deg.C for 30 seconds, an annealing process at 61-64 deg.C for 50-75 seconds and a DNA elongation process at 70-72 deg.C for 50 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds are performed 40-60 times. A characteristic DNA pattern is detected to simply and clearly identify the race of a lawn grass.
