COMPLEX COMPOUNDS OF LA (III) WITH -AMINOCYCLOALKANECARBOXYLIC ACIDS, METHOD FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

The invention relates to complex compounds of La (III) with -aminocycloalkanecarboxylic acids having the general formula LaL3Cl3SH2O where L means - aminocyclopentanecarboxylic acid, - aminocyclohexanecarboxylic acid or - aminocycloheptanecarboxylic acid, or L has the general formula where n has values from 4 to 6. The production of the complexes is effected by mixing methanol solution of lanthanum trichloride and methanol solution of one of the three acids so that the mole ratio of the lanthanum in the reaction solution to the acid will be 1:3. The mixture is heated from 55 to 70°C for 10 to 30 min., after which it is cooled to room temperature and ethyl ether is added to the solution in volume equal or bigger than 50% of the reaction volume. It is left to stay for 5 to 30 min. The produced white amorphic sediment is filtered, is washed in ethanol and is dried. The complexes have cytostatic effect.
