PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent compsn. having a low viscosity to improve the usability in metering thereof and an excellent effect of softening synthetic fibers by incorporating a specified nonionic surfactant, anionic surfactant, and cationic surfactant. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) 10 to 60wt.% nonionic surfactant of the formula I (R is an alkyl or alkenyl group of C7 to C15 on average and n is a molar number of addition of ethylene oxide), such as a linear alkyl primary alcohol ethoxylate, which satisfies the following conditions: (a) an average molar number of addition, nAV, of ethylene oxide is 7 to 20, (b) the amount of the component of n=0 which is an unreacted alcohol is not more than 10wt.%, and (c) the surfactant satisfies the formula II (nMAX is the molar number of addition of the largest weight % and Yi is a wt. percentage realized when the molar number of addition is i), (B) 0.5 to 10wt.% anionic surfactant such as a linear alkylbenzenesulfonic acid salt, and (C) 0.5 to 10wt.% cationic surfactant such as a mono (long-chain alkyl)trimethylammonium salt. |
