The terminal (1) mounted on baseplate (2) has walls formed from tube shaped segments, (4, 5, 6) with closed top lid (3). Inside the tubular housing the terminal contains e.g. electronic appts. (7) which are operable from the front. The appts. may contain a screen, keyboard and printer, providing e.g. transport information. The tubular segments are e.g. mounted on tensile rods (8).
