A weighing assembly of the type comprising a support framework, hopper means for central loading of the articles to be packaged, channel means (20) for conveying said articles from said hopper radially, means (26) for weighing the articles to be packaged in the form of a plurality of weighing baskets (24) placed peripherally and fed of said articles by said channel means (20) and with lower outlets for discharging said weighed portions of said articles; and, below said weighing baskets (24), means for conveying weighed portions of said articles received via said lower discharge outlets of the weighing baskets (24) in the form of at least one first part (28, 30) for peripheral transport of the articles having a respective surface for supporting (32, 34) and transporting the articles to be packaged positioned below and in proximity of the transfer outlets of corresponding weighing baskets (24) and developing along a peripheral conveying path. Means (47, 49) are also provided for driving sequential movement of the articles on said transport surface (32, 34) of the transport part.
