Arrangement for shaking filter with open bag mounted in elastic frame

Filter (24), e.g. for a vacuum cleaner, in the form of an open bag is mounted in an elastically deformable frame (26) and is expanded by an air stream along with the frame, the air stream then being interrupted, so that the filter and the elastic contraction of the frame restore the assembly to its original state, shaking the bag. The frame comprises a sequence of struts (48), preferably 6, arranged around the bag and extend upwards along the bag and being bent down over the top and inside the bag. The frame is preferably of elastomeric material.
