PURPOSE:To generate a voice signal designated by a user program from an output unit by taking in data sent through a system bus as a voice output instruction and decoding this data to generate the designated voice signal. CONSTITUTION:When the voice output instruction is outputted from a CPU unit through a system bus DB during the execution of the user program, the state of a latch part 504 in a voice output unit 5 is changed to interrupt a microprocessor (MPU) 501, and the data preservation processing is executed. Then, the voice output instruction in the latch part 504 is read into the MPU 501 through a latch part 505. The MPU 501 decodes and determines contents of the voice output on a basis of the interrupt output a a speech synthesizing part 510 and contents of a working RAM 503. The output of the synthesizing part 503 passes an LPF 511 and a transformer 512 and passes a plug inserted to a jack 53 and is amplified by an amplifier and is outputted from a speaker. |
