PURPOSE:To stabilize the rising and falling of a window glass and to increase the flexibility of a design by constraining a movement to one guide rail only in the direction of the width of a car, and constraining movements to the other guide rail in the direction of the width of the car and in the front and rear direction to house a window regulator. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 28A, 28B and 28B fixed to edge sections in the front and rear direction of a car of a window glass 12 are guided to curved guide rails 30A and 30B, and a movable member is moved in the up and down direction of the car by a wire 88. The window glass 12 is raised and lowered through a bearing member to bear the lower end of the window glass 12 while turning it. A window regulator 10 having such a construction is housed by constraining a movement to one of guide rails 30A and 30B only in the direction of the width of a car, and constraining movements to the other of the guide rails 30A and 30B in the direction of the width of the car and in the front and rear direction. The movable and bearing members are coupled with each other so that they are capable of relative movement. |
