The invention relates to a compound of the formula wherein R is hydroxy and R<1> is H2 or CH2, or R is hydrogen or fluoro and R<1> is CH2. Compounds of formula I are useful as agents for the treatment of hyperproliferative skin diseases, such as psoriasis, neoplastic diseases, such as leukemia, and sebaceous gland diseases, such as acne and sebhorreic dermatitis.
