SELECTOR MULTIPLEXING PLURAL SENSOR SIGNALS AND CONTROLLER CONTROLLING THE SELECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of signal lines for sensor selection and to use a sensor data line in common by adopting a multiplexed single signals for a sensor selection signal between a selector connecting plural sensors on an engine controller. SOLUTION: A controller 200 controlling a selector 500 multiplexing plural sensor signals and instructing the selection of sensors 831-838 and receiving data from the sensors is provided with a multiplex conversion section 220 converting selection information sets S30-S33 of plural sensors expressed in plural bits into plural voltages, a binary conversion section 520 re-converting the plural voltages into plural bits is provided to the selector 500 to select a sensor by the output of the binary conversion section and sensor selection information between the controller 200 and the selector 500 is sent/received through a signal line S20. Then the selector 500 multiplexes the plural sensor signals and the controller controls the selector 500.
