PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a PHS exchange to make automatically position registration to both public and private networks and to attain hand-over between base stations connecting to a PHS exchange and from a base station connecting to the PHS exchange to a base station of the public PHS when a mobile set is connected to the private PHS exchange station and receives the public service. SOLUTION: When a private public common use mobile station 11c makes position registration for a private purpose with base stations 12c, 12d connected to a PHS exchange 14 via a radio channel and the PHS exchange 14 receives the position registration, the exchange 14 checks whether the position registration is private position registration or not and makes the private position registration when the position registration is private position registration and checks service attribute of a service attribute table and makes public network position registration when the position registration in the public network is available. In this case, both the private and public position registration is executed by having only to set up one communication physical slot to send/receive the position registration information. |
