<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain process controls sprinkled at respective places by only one personnel. SOLUTION: A transmission control module 141 is incorporated in a tap arranged in a process LAN 141 and also a connector 142 for connecting a transmission cable is fitted. Then, a portable computer 18 where a maintenance program simplified when compared with the process operation monitoring device of an integration control system is mounted is connected to the connector of the process LAN tap through the use of the transmission cable 19. Thus, wherever the process control requiring maintenance exists, the portable computer is moved to the place where the process control is arranged, the portable computer 18 is connected to the process LAN tap 14 by the transmission cable 19 and required maintenance work is executed by only one maintenance personnel.</p> |
