PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium which is higher in recording or erasing sensitivity than an optical information recording medium having interchangeability with the conventional CDs and has the high environment resistance of a disk and the high production efficiency of the disk. SOLUTION: This recording medium includes a transparent substrate 101 which allows the transmission of a light beam, a recording layer 102 which is formed on this transparent substrate 101 and consists of org. dye and a reflection layer which is formed on the surface of the recording layer 102 on the side opposite to the transparent substrate 101 and reflects the light beam. In such a case, this reflection layer consists of two layers; a first metallic layer 103 and second metallic layer 204 in the order nearer the recording layer 102. The first metallic layer consists of an alloy formed to a film thickness in a range of 5 to 15nm and the second metallic layer consists of Al or Au formed to a film thickness at which the reflectivity is satd. |
