<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce toner particles having a narrow particle size distribution in a high yield, to easily produce toner particles in which a colorant, an electrostatic charge controlling agent, etc., have been uniformly distributed even if the particle diameter is small and to efficiently product a toner not causing the deterioration of the electrostatic chargeability or image stain even after repeated use. SOLUTION: A resin, a colorant and an electrostatic charge controlling agent are dispersed or dissolved in a solvent dissolving the resin to prepare a toner soln. This soln. is continuously extruded from a nozzle to form a stringy toner soln. The solvent of the toner soln. is removed and drawing to a diameter corresponding to the diameter of a toner is carried out if necessary. The resultant stringy toner is worked into toner particles by pulverization or breaking to produce the objective toner.</p> |
