摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switching mode regulator circuit with which a voltage level can be converted easily by a method which substantially does not produce a power loss. SOLUTION: A logic level is converted by a related predriving circuit and 'high' and 'low' voltage off-driving circuits 66 and 68 and an on-driving circuit drive an output switch 40 which operates as the switching transistor of a switching mode power supply. The 'high' and 'low' voltage off-driving circuits 66 and 68 turn off the output switch 40 to facilitate the wide range gate/source clamping of an output transistor. Two voltage clamps are provided in the circuit and made to operate so as to control the gate/source of the output transistor in accordance with the voltage level of a logic input signal inputted to the circuit. One of the clamps is provided in the 'low' voltage off-drive circuit 68 and the other clamp is provided in the 'high' voltage off-drive circuit 66.
