<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the follow-up of a preceding running vehicle and the bending conditions of an anterior road by means of a simple signal processing method by extracting a feature in optional space in a spatial position and deciding a control characteristic. SOLUTION: The signal of a camera 1 is inputted to a follow-up judging device 2 and the signal processed inside the follow-up judging device 2 is inputted to a driving system controller 3. Anterior screen information inputted from the camera 1 projects the anterior conditions. That is, only extremely slight information of an anterior picture is extracted and, by this, follow-up relation with the preceding running vehicle and the vending conditions of the anterior road are grasped in configuration. Therefore, a picture signal is drastically easily and quickly computer-processed without using vector calculation and a large quantity of calculation. Thus, the follow-up of the anterior running vehicle and the bending conditions of the anterior road are recognized by a drastically simple signal processing method.</p> |
