<p>A false ceiling made up, typically, of ceiling panels is supported from a series of room carriers which span a room. The room carriers are supported at their ends by perimeter profiles (6) which are themselves supported by wall mounting brackets (4). The wall profiles (6) are provided with a vertical series of teeth and the mounting brackets (4) with detents. To mount the wall profiles, the series of teeth are pushed up into the mounting brackets where they are engaged by the detents. The heights of the profiles (6) can be adjusted by pushing them, and thus the series of teeth, further up into the mounting brackets (4), so that the detents in the mounting brackets (4) engage lower teeth of the series of teeth. By this system, the wall mounting brackets (4) do not need to be positioned accurately. A level ceiling can be ensured by correct adjustment of the heights of the wall profiles (6).</p> |
