<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic document carrying mechanism in which wrinkles and sckew are not generated on a document at the image reading time of the document. SOLUTION: An image reading device 1 is provided with an image sensor 3 for reading the image of a document G, a feed roller 5 arranged on a position facing to this image sensor 3, a feed out roller 7 arranged on the upperstream side of the image sensor 3 and a rubber sheet member 9 arranged on a position facing to this feed out roller 7. A big friction area 11, whose friction coefficient is enlarged, is formed on one part of the longitudinal direction of the said feed roller 5 and also the rubber sheet member 9 is arranged to a position in coping with the big friction area in the longitudinal direction of the feed out roller 7.</p> |
