PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply provide a control device at a low cost by supporting a gear with a carrier fixed to a handle bar, and providing the snap type indicator of the operation position of a control member ratatable in cooperation with an elastic coupling member selectively coupled with the vanes between the teeth of the gear. SOLUTION: A rotatable control member 13 is formed with a tube formed integrally with a reel 14 having a peripheral groove 14a for winding a flexible cable 15 to control a transmission. A gear 19 is fixed at the inner edge section of the tube forming the control member 13, and the gear 19 is provided with the snap type indicator of various operation positions of the control member 13 rotatable in cooperation with three elastic coupling members 21 having opposite ends hooked on a ring 22 having axial lugs 23 to be coupled with free spring end portions and the seats 24 of a carrier 2. A control device can be simply manufactured at a low cost. |
