PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking fluid pressure, control device for an automobile, with the starting condition for the automatic braking process of which optimized. SOLUTION: A braking fluid pressure control device is equipped with a braking pedal footing stroke detecting means 300, a time detecting means 304, a braking pedal footing speed operating means 305, a road surface resistance judging means 310, an ABS operating condition judging means 311, a threshold value judging means 3O6, and with an automatic braking process control means 307, and allows an automatic braking process to be started when a brake pedal exceeding a threshold value is in operation, or when an ABS is in operation, and furthermore when no low coefficient μ is detected in a road surface condition while the brake pedal exceeding a threshold value is in operation. |
