The invention relates to azolobenzazepine derivatives of formula (I), wherein: X is O or S; R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> are independently hydrogen, perfluorolower-alkyl, halogen, nitro or cyano; and C together with the carbon atoms to which it is attached forms a 5-membered aromatic heterocycle, to pharmaceutical compositions containing them and to methods for the treatment of neurological disorders utilizing them.
