The electrical supply is provided by batteries fitted into the legs of the tripod (10) or monopod used to support the camera while it is in use. The telescopic legs are hollow to accept the batteries (42). The connections (50,52) between the batteries and the equipment are integrated into the legs, and connected to the central support at the top of the tripod. Batteries may be placed in each leg, and a selector switch at the top of the tripod used to connect to the batteries in any one leg. Terminals at the top of the tripod provide connection to the equipment used. |
