Sealed inspection covers for wall and floor installation

The inspection cover 2 is set into a frame 1 that is installed in a wall. The cover is secured into position by a latch 3 on one side and retained in a hinge assembly 5 on the opposite side. The cover has a double main panel section set into a profiled metal frame 8 with a channel edge into which is set a sealing strip 11 . This engages a metal section lining 9 that is fitted into the main frame. Fire proof protection strips 10 are inset to provide a complete seal when the inspection cover is in position.
