Concrete lost shells

The shell for moulding concrete walls, as a lost shell, is of a plastics foam and especially polystyrene foam. It is composed of two half-sections (1,1b) with a profiled (10) surface structure of keys and tenons, to be locked together with a narrow gap (2) between them. The swallowtail shape of the profiles (10) ensures that the half-sections (1a,1b) cannot become detached through draw forces at right angles to their main line.
