<p>PURPOSE:To shorten speed change time, by returning a pressure plate to a position in the way of stroke, when speed change other than first speed is started, and engaging a clutch again upon finish of speed change through a speed change gear. CONSTITUTION:A pressure plate 1d is returned to the way of entire stroke when automatic speed change is carried out through a speed change gear 3 except the first speed, so as to return the shortened distance to re-engagement state of a clutch board 1b as soon as switching of the speed change gear 3 is finished. Consequently, entire speed change time can be shortened for every speed change. Since rotary inertia moment of gear system in speed change stage is confined within a small range, speed change impact scarcely occurs even if return of the pressure plate 1d is reduced. Consequently, the time interval when power is not transmitted from a drive shaft 1a to an output shaft 3a can be shortened, and automatic speed change feeling for a driver can be improved.</p> |
