Support device for a cable chute

The support for attachment to an electrical conduit comprises two pieces (2a,2b) between which a block (5) is supported. The two pieces are joined together at a hinged joint (3) which is situated centrally above the block position. Each piece also extends upwards from the plane of the hinged joint, to define a seating (6) which is intended to fit around a conduit. Upwardly directed parts of the two major pieces (25) define the channel in the upper part of the support, and enable the fitting to be retained in position, suspended from the conduit.
