摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve durability of an engine by a method wherein when a cooling water temperature is below a set temperature, a supercharging pressure is decreased, and when a cooling water temperature exceeds a set temperature but the number of revolutions of an engine exceeds a set value, a supercharging pressure is reduced until warming-up of an engine is completed. CONSTITUTION:In a variable volume turbocharger 5, exhaust gas exhausted from an engine body flows to an outer peripheral passage 41a through an inlet passage 42. Thereafter, the exhaust gas flows to an inflow passage 41b at a velocity of flow responding to the variable flow area of a gap between moving and fixed vanes 54 and 49, and after it rotationally drives a turbine wheel 50, it is exhausted. The moving vane 54 is driven by an actuator based on a control amount responding to an engine running state. In this case, the moving vane 54 is controlled so that a supercharging pressure is reduced when a cooling water temperature is below a set temperature. When a cooling water temperature exceeds a set value but the number of revolutions of an engine exceeds a set value, control is made such that a supercharging pressure is reduced until warming-up of en engine is completed.</p>
