PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of ink and paper powder and to facilitate cleaning by forming plural projecting bars orthogonally crossing a roller axis at intervals in the axial direction on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A traveling paper guided by a guide roller 11 is supported with a local and strong pressure by means of projecting bars 12 on the surface of the guide roller 11 and hardly slips, and under this condition, a strong climbing action is applied to the traveling paper in plural positions in the axial direction according to the rotation of the guide roller 11, so that the traveling paper is conveyed precisely perpendicularly to the axis of the guide roller 11 without spreading in the width direction. The traveling paper is conveyed while touching the projecting bars 12 of the guide roller 11, and ink and paper powder 14 adheres to a groove 13, however, the adhering ink and paper powder 14 are conveyed along the groove 13 in the tip direction of the projecting bar 12 by the centrifugal force of the guide roller 11 so as to be gathered on the tip sides of the projecting bars 12, and is blown off to be brought out by the traveling paper when a certain quantity is accumulated, so that adhesion hardly occurs. |
