PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing damage of the device, by restraining from starting warming-up in the case a power is erroneously turned on, when a recording paper is remaining in a position that is not detected by any of sensors in the device. SOLUTION: This device transferring the toner image develop-formed on the image carrier 10 to a transported recording paper P, and fixing and discharging the recording paper P on which the toner image is transferred, is provided with sensors S1 and S2 detecting the position of the recording paper P on a transport path for transporting the recording paper P at least, before transferring the toner image on the recording paper P, and after fixation of toner image. Accordingly, in the case the recording paper P is not detected by either of the sensor S1 or S2, although the transfer paper P is transported on the transporting path when the power is turned off, the storing device for storing the presence of the recording paper P is storing the presence of the recording paper P, displays the warning as to that the recording paper P is present in the device, if the presence of the recording paper P is stored in the storing device when the power of the device is turned on, and thereafter the warming-up of the device is started. |
