Flowers and plants packaging system - separates roots from foliage, with separate oxygen filling, using plastics heat sealed bags

The fixed clamping jaw (1), faces three opposed movable clamping jaws (2-4) which are actuated by piston rods (5,6,7) and double working cylinders (8-10). A plastics bag (11) contg. e.g. plants to be packaged has a top mounted e.g. oxygen supply bottle and tube (12). After positioning the bag, the top clamp (2) is closed. After sufficient filling has been released into the bag a sensor (13) actuates closure of the bottom clamp (4). The centre clamp (3) has an electrode, connected to heat seal the bag.
