PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the connection between a branching unit and a suspension wire from being released to apply an extra load to a cable and prevent the life of the cable from being shortened by fixing the suspension wire in a branch section in the uncut state. SOLUTION: A coaxial cable 4 constituted of an inner conductor, an insulator, and an outer conductor and a suspension wire 5 arranged along it are integrally covered with a sheath layer 6 to form this coaxial cable 7 with the suspension wire 5. The cable 4 side and the suspension wire 5 side of the cable 7 are separated by the prescribed length at portions of the sheath layer 6, e.g. the branch position and relay position of the cable 4, as required. A branching unit 8 is fitted to the cable 4 at these portions, however the suspension wire 5 is arranged along the side section of the branching unit 8 in the uncut state. The whole branching unit 8, a part of the suspension wire 5, and a part of the cables 4, 4' are protected by a branch section 9. The branch section 9 is formed into a mold section filled with a resin by molding, for example. The connection between the branching unit 8 and the suspension wire 5 can be prevented from being released to apply an extra load to the coaxial cables 4, 4' unlike the conventional one. |
