PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generally and widely display a local area and to display a customer's name for each frame of a house on a map in the business dealing with a customer through the use of a map system. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a minimum displaying range displaying magnification calculating part 11 for calculating the displaying magnification of the map from the characteristic 44 of a display 5, the resolution and the reduction scale 41 of map data to be a displaying object and a minimum displaying range 42 batch- displayed in one picture, and a displaying magnification calculating part for displaying the name of a house 12 calculating the displaying magnification of an image from the characteristic 44 of the display 5, the resolution and the reduction scale 41 of map data to be the displaying object, a character arranging parameter 45 necessary for discriminating a character on the picture and the characteristic of a house frame on the map. Then based on the displaying magnification of a standard map obtained from the displaying magnification of the map obtained from the displaying magnification calculating part 11 and the displaying magnification calculating part 12, an original map image 50 is magnified and reduced, then is stored as a standard map image 60, and when the standard displaying magnification is specified at the time of displaying the map, the standard map image 60 is displayed on a display. |
