PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent penetration of rainwater into the interior of a room even when at an intersection point, high pressure rainwater during a rainstorm is blown in a gap between adjoining panels for building. SOLUTION: The spot, positioned facing an ALC board 51, of a gasket 1 for a joint is brought into elastic contact therewith with a close distance therebetween. A region which is surrounded with four corners not pressed by the surfaces of the ALC boards 51 is elastically changed through interference of the gaskets 1 for a joint with each other. However, in the direction of a thickness L positioned at an intersection point between two sides when the gaskets are mounted on the four ALC boards 51 which are disposed adjacently to each other in the direction of width and the direction of height, a slight elastic change by the press forces of the surfaces of the ALC boards 51 occurs. In which case, a thickness L positioned at an intersection point between the two sides of the ALC boards 51 serving as the panel for building of the gasket 1 for a joint is decreased to less than√2S as compared with a thickness S of other linear part.
