PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a recording device which uses a recording paper which colors with heat and light and heighten maintainability by providing a plurality of heating elements (light emitting elements) in a direction rectangular to a paper sending direction on a supporting stage in a housing and providing a light emitting means (heating means) in the cross direction. SOLUTION: On a heating element base plate 10, a plurality of heating elements 2 are arranged in a direction rectangular to a conveying direction of a recording paper, and heating elements 8 are arranged on a light emitting base plate 9 so as to be in parallel with an arranging line of the heating elements 2, and the base plates 9 and 10 are integrally fixed on a support stage 11. The recording paper is conveyed by a paper sending mechanism from the lower part to the upper part as shown in the figure. At this time, the recording paper is selectively colored by the heating of the heating elements 2, thereafter, its coloring part and non-coloring part are fixed by light emission of the light emitting elements 8. A recording device like this is arranged in the housing formed of a cover and a chassis. A recording paper conveying platen roller is arranged at the cover and a record head is arranged at the chassis. |
