PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for molding fiber preform which makes it possible to wind fiber on a bent part irrespective of the shape of the bent part without occurring a slip. SOLUTION: In case of forming a fiber preform by using a filament winding method, a pin 2 is, for example, implanted to the bent part 11 of a mold 1 wound with fiber in the state that the fiber does not slip or the fiber is wound while heating, for example, by heating means so that the fiber does not slip at the bent part of the mold.
