<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve numerical aperture by using the scanning signal wiring and the gate signal wiring also used as a light shielding layer and composing the source signal wiring and the gate signal wiring from a two-layer structure formed by a transparent conductive layer and a light shielding conductive layer with a width narrower than it. SOLUTION: The gate signal wiring 2 and the source signal wiring 3 are formed so that their respective parts superpose the peripheral section of an image electrode 1, and the gate signal wiring 2 is formed by a light shielding conductive layer. The source signal wiring 3 has a two-layer structure including an underlaying layer 3a of a transparent conductive body and an overlaying layer 3b with a width narrower than it, and the light shielding conductive layers of these signal wiring lines play a role of a light shielding film. And not only this light shielding conductive layer works also as shielding films between each pixel but can widen the effective pixel area by the amount of the narrowed portion formed in the light shielding conductive layer of the source signal wiring 3. In addition, the transparent conductive layer 3a having sufficient wiring width prevents the breakage of the source signal wiring 3 and maintains low resistance.</p> |
