PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an abrasive, reduced in problems of a conventional abrasive when carrying out the high-speed grinding or cutting and excellent in grinding efficiency and accuracy. SOLUTION: This abrasive comprises a bonding layer 2 formed of a cured layer of a thermosetting adhesive composition consisting essentially of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and further preferably an organic peroxide used as a curing agent (a cross-linking agent), more preferably a silane coupling agent or an acryloxy group-, a methacryloxy group- or an allyl group-containing compound added thereto in the abrasive comprising an abrasive layer 3 laminated through the bonding layer 2 to a substrate 1. |
