PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low loss oxide magnetic material still showing a low iron loss even at a high frequency to the degree of 500kHz and further even at a high frequency band to the degree of 2MHz or above. SOLUTION: This magnetic material has a basic component composition containing Fe2 O3 : 52 to 59mol% and MnO: the rest thereof or Fe2 O3 : 50 to 60mol%, ZmO: not more than 8mol% and MnO: the rest and oxides of Si, Ca in terms of SiO2 :0.005 to 0.1wt.% and CaO 0.01 to 0.3wt.% and further a component composition containing B of not more than 30ppm and P not more than 50ppm in terms of a weight ratio as a minor component in the basic component and besides a final sintered body has the magnitude of a complex dielectric ceonstant at 25 deg.C and 1MHz of not more than 10<6> and and has an iron loss at 2 MHz, 25mT and 80 deg.C is not more than 500kW/m<3> . |
