PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration which is caused when the joint of a photoreceptive belt passes along a cleaner and to prevent an image density irregularity. SOLUTION: The photoreceptive belt 10 has a joint for making it endless, and when the joint passes along the cleaner 24, a latent image is not formed by an exposure device 25. Also, a running distance from the cleaner 24 to exposure device is made shorter than a distance from the rear end of a print image to the front end of the following print image. Further, the cleaner 24, an electrifier 21, and the exposure device are arranged around one of a plurality of rollers stretching the photoreceptive belt 10. Thus, because the effect of the passage of the joint of the photoreceptive belt along the cleaner is prevented, an image density irregularity which results from cleaner's vibration can be prevented. |
