PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can preclude base contamination caused by a drop with time of the photo-quantity when a photo-sensitive element is subjected to photo-exposure and which executes a photo-exposure of a high reliability at a low cost by furnishing a means to correct the voltage of an exposure lamp even when any important part of the exposing optical system is contaminated. SOLUTION: An image forming device concerned comprises an exposure lamp 16 to irradiate a document, a reading means to read the reflected photo- quantity from the document in a position out of focus on the way of an exposing optical system, and a lamp correcting means to correct the voltage of the exposure lamp 16. This lamp correcting means is composed of the first correcting means segment to correct the voltage of the exposure lamp on the basis of the mean of some upper-grade of the output signals from a plurality of document sheets due to each unit of sheets of the reading means and the second correcting means segment to correct the lamp voltage at certain intervals. |
