PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily compare actually viewed scene with display image by stereoscopically displaying image of information of buildings, pedestrian bridges, etc., on a display in accordance with a stereoscopic image display instruction. SOLUTION: When a stereoscopic image display instruction is input from an input means 12, a controller 11 reads from a CD-ROM 14 structural information of buildings, pedestrian bridges, etc., (building information) ahead in the advancing direction, and displays on a display 13. At this time, if rain or snow is detected by a rain drop sensor 17 and a humidity sensor 17a, the rain or snow is indicated by a black point and a white point on the image. The image is displayed with a brightness corresponding to an illuminance of an environment outside a vehicle at present in accordance with an illuminance information from an illuminance sensor 18. Moreover, the present, date, time and longitude/ latitude of a point ahead of the advancing direction are read from a GPS 16, whereby the buildings, etc., in the stereoscopic image are shaded based on information of sunrises and sunsets of every date, time and longitude/latitude stored at 15. Accordingly, the displayed contents can be close to an actually viewed scene. |
