PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting liquid for lithographic printing plate on which a silver image is formed wherein the speed of correcting operation is heightened and the storing stability are improved. SOLUTION: This correcting liquid concerned contains ferric-(III) complex salt of organic acid, sulfite or metabisulfite, solution of silver halide and promotor, and is prepared into an aqueous solution having a pH between 5.5 and 8.5, wherein the accelerating agent has mercapto group or thion group and takes a form of organic heterocyclic compound having no hydrophilic substituent other than mercapto radical and thion radical. The content of this promotor ranges between 0.04-0.4mol/l correcting liquid. |
