The sealing system for preventing floodwater penetration comprises an external panel (1) which is fixed onto the frame (6a-6h). There is an internal removable panel (2) and a protection crosspiece (3) for an inflatable fender (4). The removable panel enables changing the fender if it is perforated. Sealing is ensured by a soft joint (5). A fender inflation valve is introduced into a hole (7) at the base of the lower panel. A threaded rod (8) prevents the two panels from separating under the pressure of the fender
